Maddie insisted to take her guitar to class so that she could accompany the "Happy Birthday" song sung by all her fellow classmates... accoustic, of course!
Tradition in Maddie's kindergarten class is to get a birthday spank from the teacher with a soft pillow. Maddie had the brilliant idea to ask the entire class if they would all like to spank her- (notice the line of students)...
When we asked Maddie where she would like to go for her birthday dinner- "McDonalds" was her first and only choice!

Our sweet Maddie turned 6! Her Dad and I are both proud and shocked that she is 6 already. She just finished her kindergarten year and is off to the big 1st grade in the Fall. She is reading up a storm! We celebrated her birthday with her Aunt Tessa, Cousin Seth and Cousin Mya. I am going to post a few birthday photos for everyone's enjoyment. Here she is with her pink guitar she got from Grandpa Dave. She has played that guitar everyday since receiving it.
